"I have never been to this surgery however I have had to ring reception twice to book an appointment for the Student Medical Centre (SMC) as you cannot ring that surgery. I politely asked if they would book me an appointment for the SMC for this reason as they have kindly done before. I am not sure if it was the same person who last answered the phone, however, this receptionist was extremely rude, telling me they cannot make appointments for the Student Medical Centre (when they have before without an issue and are also the out of hours number for the SMC). I explained again, that you cannot ring the SMC in which they rudely responded, 'well everyone else can ring them just fine', which isn't true having looked at all SMC reviews.
I was persistent, again, explaining they have been able to book an appointment before and that you cannot ring the SMC and so they eventually booked me an appointment. Upon asking my details, they obviously couldn't hear me over the phone properly and was very rude about it, snapping 'what??' down the phone to get me to repeat myself.
After I agreed to an appointment time, they repeated the date and time again followed with a 'bye' and hung up straight away. This isn't the type of service you would expect to receive."
