"We have lived in Charlbury for 12 years now and have two young children. We have needed to use this GP a lot but are let down frequently
1) On some occasions they will not answer the phone at all. One such occasion we tried calling for an entire hour. We got bored and walked down only to be told the reason they were not answering was because they were busy (they didn't look it) (March 2018)
2) On one occasion I called the reception to ask to have my cholesterol checked - they immediately said I needed an appointment with the nurse. I went to the appointment and the Nurse just wanted to know why I wanted to have my cholesterol checked. (I had seen NHS adverts saying everyone should know their 'numbers') I had to fight with this nurse to get it done and she said I should have seen the doctor first. I explained that reception had made this appointment with the Nurse and she basically said I was lying and that reception would not have made that mistake. (August 2013)
3) The appointments here are ALWAYS late. Once we had to wait 1.5hours with our 3 month old boy! (Jan 2017)
4) They are never helpful. Often we have to drop urine samples off but when we ring up to find the results - we are told the results are confidential and they can't be told over the phone. (even when these are results about our own urine!!)"
