"My husband went to a and e on the advice of 111. We had loads of tests done ecg, bloods etc and was told by the doctor there to refer to our gp for an ultrasound.
We called up first thing the next day and that was fine we got an appointment for 20mins later and the receptionist was helpful with this as she could see my husband's notes on her screen.
Upon arriving we were told the dr ward had basically dismissed what the a and e doctor had advised, that my husband wasnt to receive an ultrasound and needed more bloods and urine samples...
Fast forward 4 days...bloods come back again and they now say he does actually need an ultrasound. (Even though we already knew this)
Why couldn't they do this in the first place as advised by the a and e doctor who even wrote a letter explaining what was needed to the practice.
Baffled and annoyed that this could have been sorted out sooner rather than later."
