"Had a 10:40 am appointment with Duty Doctor , arrived & signed in at 10:39 am .. was told on the check in screen â0 minutes delayâ . Great I thought as I was taking time off work so wouldnât be too long ! ......... 11am came , still waiting .... 11:30am came .... still waiting .
I waited 55 minutes when I was told there was 0 minutes delay for my appointment !!! Absolutely disgraceful !!!!!!

This isnât the first time this has happened - what a few months back and I had to wait 40 minutes for my appointment & I was one of the first appointment at 9:10am .. how can you be 40 minutes behind so early in the morning ?!?

I would NOT recommend this GP surgery to anyone - and itâs only going to get worse with the amount of new houses being built in the area !!"

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Peter Kipgen

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

Dr Philip Monnery qualified from ST George’s Hospital Medical School in 1991, Undertaking a career in the Royal Air force. Initially undertaking surgical training and specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat he became a consultant in the Military in 2006. A change in life goals meant a change to general practice in 2009. He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Qualifications - BSc, MBChB, MRCGP

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
