"I recently spoke to a GP here and outlined my concerns- a brief history- and expressed that I am in quite a sufficient level of pain- which is unusual for me. The GP made me feel as if I was being dramatic- and that it merely didn't sound like anything of concern. I haven't had an examination and did not get offered an appointment. But my issue is I know my own body- this issue and level of pain is not atypical for me. And I felt almost dismissed over the phone to the point after an 8 minute conversation the doctor told me they have to go as triage calls were building. I felt like an absolute nuisance by the end. I like to consider myself proactive, educated and health aware but feel really disappointed- I could sense the GP didn't particularly take my concerns seriously. I respect it gets busy but I have been experiencing agonising pain-which led me here in the first place. I am really sadddened after previous positive experiences."
