"Been registered here years. Thankfully had very little need to attend and when I did the service was "average".
Recently though, in the past 5 years, many issues have arisen and they should be addressing them.
1. Website while informative misses the basics, Times to phone for appointments for instance. Its 8:30 until 9:00 (according to the person I spoke to). Yet web site suggests its 8:00 till 8:30 and the recording is wrong.
2. When the phone rings (after 8:30) and the option to book appointments taken, at least answer the call. A recorded message of being busy and hanging up is simply rude.
3. On Line booking, fine idea, but it is booked up 4 weeks in advance, whats the point? The website shouldn't be used to park appointments?
4. Waiting time once there is unacceptable, often wait over 20 minutes beyond the appointed time. (was 10 minutes late once and doctor refused to see me!!!)
As a patient - I pay taxes so not a free service to me - I expect some interaction with a person at least.
How many days do you need to wait to get an appointment? Currently I have been ill for 5 days, not getting better with self medication and looking for professional advice. 2 days of trying and no nearer an appointment? Simply not good enough.
This isn't limited to this practice, there are many others the same (though they at least do speak direct rather than hang up). I am on the lookout for an alternative still."
