"I canât believe this GP surgery is still allowed to run. From the first point of contact, the receptionists/ whoever answere the phone are useless and rude. They donât treat patients with respect and canât seem to even schedule appointments.
When you arrive at the surgery, again the receptionists are rude and disinterested. They make you feel like youâre an inconvenience to them and canât carry out their job correctly. Hereâs an example of the chat I had with one today:
Receptionist: ok so youâre appointments at nine, what time is it?
Me: whatâs the time now?
Receptionist: no, what timeâs your appointment
During this exchange the receptionist was aggressive.
When I saw the nurse, her bedside manner was terrible, she made me feel uncomfortable and as though I was just another person she had to get out of her clinic. She made me cry and wasnât comforting or helpful.
After todayâs experience and the many many other horrendous ones over the years, I wonât be returning and will be launching an official complaint.
This surgery is an embarrassment to our excellent NHS."
