"was asked to make an appointment via letter, did so - turned up for the appointment, reception had no record even though i made it directly with them (they even wrote the details (time/date) on my letter).
Made a 2nd appointment and was promised i'd be seen "first thing" queued 20 minutes to get into the surgery and was told by reception they would let the person i was seeing know i was here. almost twenty minutes later i was still not seen so asked why and was told there were 3/4 in front of me - how does that constitute "first thing" Had to leave for work again without being seen !! I will no doubt be embargoed by the practice and my prescription stopped for not keeping appointments that the surgery has messed up on - not me.
Not at all impressed and very angry as i've lost wages as a result."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

Dr Philip Monnery qualified from ST George’s Hospital Medical School in 1991, Undertaking a career in the Royal Air force. He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
