"Phone up to make appointment at dead on 08.00am voicemail saying practice closed.
Phone 30 seconds later recorded voice then tells you that you are 35 in the queue, how on earth can a queue build to 35 in 30 seconds.

I then phone again today 21st Feb 2019 and told that once again a doctor is on annual leave!
Then told at just 08.15 am there are no appointments and a gp will phone me to see if I need to be seen!!
Let's see if he does phone me and not like previous promises which were not kept.

This Health centre is diabolical and now has new reception staff who tend to have an arrogant nature about them and as a whole I have to say this health centre has gone down the pan and is most unhelpful

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
