This came as a surprise to me considering my last blood test was some 5 months previous and it was specifically around my medical condition as opposed to a full blood count. When I queried this with the reception, I was told âoh we have had a lot of calls like this today and it was an errorâ as I was trying to speak the receptionist just continued to talk over me until three times I had to ask her to stop interrupting me and let me finish what I wanted to say. Eventually she listened and I suggested that as they are aware there seems to be this problem I suggest they send a random txt letting patients know that they may have received a txt message in error and that if theyâre were concerned to call the surgery. Some people may be worried and it would put their mind at ease had they received one. Receptionist just thanked me and hung up. Really not acceptable."
