"In 2018 i went to shiva medical centre for my yearly diabetic check and a blood test was done including a psa check due to my age which came back with a reading of 5.3 so another psa test was done 10 days later and that came back 6.2 so the doctor informed urology dept at medway maritime hospital and an appointment was made for me to see a consultant who arranged for me to under go a byopsy of the prostate which came back showing something there so another byopsy was done and this revealed prostate cancer 4+3 gleeson score of 7.
December i went in for a robotic proceedure to remove the prostate which was done successfully on january 11th i had a psa test done and this is now at 0.001 with all cancer taken out i will have to have regular blood tests every three month and will be under the hospital for the next ten years with regular blood test if the doctor and the diabetic nurse had not done this test the outcome would of been a different matter.
Prostate cancer is the quite killer and instead of planning my funeral i get to live a little longer so thanks to the ones concerned i owe them my life"
