"I would like to thank the staff at the Park Surgery for their care and concern when my Mam visited last Thursday 19/4/18. She had been complaining of headaches and dizziness for a few days when she called the surgery and spoke to the receptionist. She was able to get an emergency appt the same day and went to see the Dr. He was concerned about how she presented at the appt as her speech had started to slur and he immediately phoned an ambulance. He asked a receptionist to wait with her until the ambulance arrived and she contacted my mams next of kin. My Mam is still in hospital now and has had many tests and is being treated for a very rare brain disease called Cerebral Vasculitis. Her symptoms did not sound too serious initially and could have very easily have been mistaken for something less severe and could have therefore been fatal but thanks to the quick thinking of the staff at the Park her condition has been diagnosed early she is now receiving the treatment she needs. Thank you all and well done!"
