"This has been the most excellent Drs practice I have ever been too. I have been a patient since 1991 with the same Dr. The Patient Access is great for booking appointments and ordering repeat prescriptions. The text service to remind you of appointments is excellent.
The only problem is with the new rules that the NHS has put in place. My father at 86 who died last year was always worrying that he would never have his heart medication in time. So I do not know how he or anyone else that depend on their medication will cope with the anxiety caused by this system as it is terrible. I cannot order any tablets in advance so if you are on holiday ring up, if you lose tablets ring up because from now on you do not get the tablets unless you run out on the same day. Absolutely ridiculous oh and its not their problem that you cannot get to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription either its obviously yours. But then you wouldn't have the problem if you have one or two weeks stock just in case, but they do not work like that. SO get ready for loads of phone calls, complaints, worried anxious patients wanting their medication. Oh and please do not put that the tablets are accepted making wasted trips to the pharmacy when its actually been put on hold until the day you run out of the tablets. Annoyed, high blood pressure patient who relies on blood pressure pills. Guess what I lost two tablets the other day so thats' a phone call I guess."
