"I rang on 02/01/2019 at 1.25pm to see if there was any cancellations for my son who is 10. I spoke to a receptionist who i felt was quite rude. She asked me for a brief indication of the problem and then asked me why it had taken me so long to ring for an appointment! My son started been poorly on 29th December 2018. I work in a pharmacy so spoke to the pharmacist and also did everything i could to help him get better as advised by GP's before taking up appointments. My son has slightly improved but i felt that it would be better to get him checked out seen as how the symptoms are carrying on. The receptionist then told me that i should ring in a morning for appointments which i am fully aware of but just rang on the off chance that there may have been a cancellation which i explained to her. This lady made me feel like a bad mum the way she spoke to me, when all i was doing was trying to help my son without the need to take up appointments. Patients are advised to visit their pharmacy or try to self medicate before booking appointments so therefore this lady had no right to say what she said."
