"1.I called the pharmacy to order my repeat prescription only to be informed that they are no longer able to provide this service (news to me!) and I will need to call the surgery. Finally got through to the surgery, after abiding by the rules on when I can actually call, to be told, rudely that I canât order my script over the phone. I explained that I had only just been informed of this change of process & needed to order my meds to which the receptionist told me âIâll do it on this occasion but in future.....â. I didnât change the process nor was I informed of the change so I donât expect the rudeness that accompanied my request.
2. 10.30 received a text reminder for my appointment with the nurse. 14.30 received a text to say my appointment had been cancelled & I would need to rearrange. Another lengthy wait at the end of the phone ensued. Explained my need to rebook & enquired why I had needed to do so. âThe nurse has an appointmentâ was the the answer. âReally? I had an appointment that I booked over 3 weeks ago and arranged a days holiday from work to attend.â Response - âwell thereâs not a lot I can do about that, would you like me to rebook you?â After much checking of diaryâs and dates I rebooked for another 3 weeks time. Seems I am penalised yet again for having a job & going to work!!
3. Have just been invited to try the new app for booking appointments & ordering scripts. Well guess what? The prescription service is âcoming soonâ & there are âno appointments available to bookâ so I have deleted said app as it is of no use whatsoever.
So all in all, a brilliantly appalling week with rude staff too. Thanks for that!!"
