"I have had an ongoing problem for last 18 months. Every so often I have to book an appointment with a Dr, which can only be booked on the day if you ring at 8am.
Every time I see a Dr, it is a different doctor, sometimes locums and sometimes new Dr's that seem to last a few weeks at the practice. None of the Dr's read my notes/case and as a result I have to explain and talk them through my history, test results are on their system, which they only quickly look over when I direct them to do so. As a result of this I have been given different diagnosis's and in the latest example a new / less experienced Dr contradicted a more experienced Dr. The latter suggested I have a hormonal blood test, the former said "in my opinion I would not bother"...."you should just take multivitamins" ! This is from new Dr that I have never seen before and did not bother to look into my history/case.
I have been with the Uplands Medical Practice for over 14 years and over the last few years it has become very disjointed and less caring about their patients and seemingly about the churn and money making. It is a shame to see what was once a very good practice becoming a very poor one."
