"Following a difficult period with a tummy problem ; My GP was really great in getting me referred to the hospital for tests very quickly and everyone involved at the surgery were kind and and efficient and now Iâm better he is still keeping an eye on me. Thank you Doctor,and to the nurses who did my blood tests and the receptionists for always being so helpful.
That wasnât the end though because as I was recovering I found a breast lump and phoned the surgery to see if I could get a quick appointment. The Doctor on triarge, phoned me almost immediately, saw me within an hour and after examining me, dictated a referral letter whilst I was still there. I was seen at the hospital within 10 days and confirmed with early stage breast cancer.
I have now had a lumpectomy and am just waiting for my treatment plan.
So thank you also to the doctor concerned and all the nurseâs and staff for their care and prompt response.
I think we are very lucky to have such a great surgery and team of Dotors,nurses and receptionists to help us when we are ill.
