"Almost impossible to book a 'routine' telephone consultation not even face to face appointment. I don't want to waste NHS resources so it's not a good use of resources to be told to ring in the morning for a routine issue when I actually rang you at the time. When I attempted to call again the lines were super busy - very difficult to get through. Finally when I managed to get through later in the day I was told there were no telephone slots available so I needed to ring again until I reiterated that it was a 'routine' call. I was asked too many questions as to why I needed to book this appointment (I don't mind stating the reason but not to an irritating degree). I rarely see a GP so when I needed just to talk to a GP there were so many hurdles for a simple 'routine' matter.
It's a real shame because it used to be a good surgery."
