"My wife again attended an appointment which once more has led to her coming home in floods of tears after yet again receiving no help.
How is it possible that a GP can belittle and speak to someone in such a condescending way, let alone let them leave whist crying, after all what was needed was some help.
I am sure that doctors are 'meant to do no harm' or am I mistaken in that? This practice is beyond belief, a GP who can't empathise or show any compassion for an individual who is clearly in distress, and just let them leave in a worse state then when they arrived!!
This is the second time that my wife has had the same reaction from this doctor, who seems to think that you go in with a list of things that you want carried out!! and if your lucky they might agree, but do not expect them to offer any advice or methods to aid recovery.
I am astonished that this surgery can't even get the basics right, there is a distinct lack of capability, and a total lack of professionalism, with a complete disregard for the individual,
if they don't have an answer, they expect you to provide one, for some reason I always thought that you went to see a GP for them to provide the support and the answers, not leave you in floods of tears and let you leave!!"
