"I've been at this practice for over 15 years and unfortunately had an ongoing medical problem that has required both many appointments and surgical referrals so I've much first hand experience.
The appointments are always available if you need them and usually on the day you request. You might have to wait longer for a specific doctor but as I saw whoever was available all my requests were seen to very quickly and you are able to speak to a doctor on the telephone the same day all of the time. They don't leave until they've dealt with the requests.
I've also had many referrals for X-ray's and scans, all dealt with promptly, the wait is down to the hospitals not the practice. I was also referred to a surgeon I found in London when the treatment at Leicester hospitals was lengthy waiting and not as specific. After a conversation with my appointed doctor they were happy to do the referral and helped me secure speedy specialist surgery at the London Royal Orthopedic on the nhs.
To me this surgery has offered outstanding service and I would hate to move away. The awful tales I hear from two family members about different surgeries in loughborough makes me realise what an efficient place it is, how much work they put into delivering such a service and how lucky I am."
