However, a week later when I needed another appointment as I was still not well it was a different story. It took me 16 minutes of redialling and being on hold to be told I could not have an appointment until the following day as I had not finished my medication at that point. The receptionist was verging on being rude. So I rang back the following day and waited another 18 minutes redialling and on hold to be asked if it was an emergency. I explained the situation and the receptionist did eventually give me an appointment. She was verging on rude in her manner. My appointment time was 11:10am and I did not see a doctor until 11:55am.
I am considering changing GP practice."
