"I will be making a formal complaint but, briefly. my partner ( Diabetic and recently diagnosed with cancer) had been trying for weeks to get a sick note and pain relief, he was constantly given wrong information, I tried to get the pain relief for him, I was told a doctor would call me back.17.45 the doctor still had not called, I was leaving work so called to say I am heading that way as surgery is closing soon and partner will be left whole weekend no pain relief. The person on phone told me off for phoning emergency time, I said this is an emergency, I cant miss Dr not calling me back, they said they can still call up to18.30 so im sure if the doctor said they'll call then they will, I could not risk it so said I pass there anyway, they said if you find it closed call back.I got there it was closed, i called the phoneline again who said they had no record on screen of who i was and that i had called previously, they said the call must have gone to the surgery itself!!!and could see a person talking to someone out of my veiw in a room,I knocked repeatedly they ignored me and continued chatting,When they eventually came they opened the door came out &shut it behind them,now frantic I explained the situation they said the doctor has finished for the day, I asked about my phone call & script they said " Well the doctorâs gone" I explained how much pain my partner was in they said with a smirk its not their problem!!! I Was Livid, I then yelled and told them how rude they were they shrugged, I walked off but came back, they were chatting and laughing with someone ( Who, i sincerely hope was not this elusive Dr as i Know full well someone was still in the surgery with this person when they said the Dr had gone) about me and how they had put me in my place! I approached &asked their name they told me but refused to say surname saying " You don't need to Know my surname Ive finished work now so its not your business" at that point I flipped and told them their manner was disgusting and I will be complaining, patients are dying and they can just stand there laughing and being rude, the rude little so and so then told me to "Oh do what you like".Disgusting!!! &.the doctor never did ring me back!"
