"I am a fairly new patient. I attended the walk in and saw a NP, the following day I felt worse, I knew the medication I was prescribed could take a while to work.
I filled out an E Consult and was contacted by a receptionist who said the Doctor requested I go in for a medication review. I asked if there were any appts the following day and there weren't any so I attended the walk in,
I explained to the GP what medication I was on and why and why I attended a few days before. We went through my medication. The GP suggested another medication which I'd had problems with in the past. It wasn't a problem, as I had a medication upped instead.
The GP examined me and could see what the problem was straight away. it was nice to be listened to and involved in my treatment.
The GP was sympathetic, professional and understanding.
The receptionists are helpful and have explained the way the surgery works.
The walk in is great because you can turn up between 7.30-10.30 and be seen. I use the online facility for booking routine appts and ordering medication."
