"If you need an appointment you need to book 3-4 weeks in advance. When you do get one they will be running late. Sometimes just 10-15 minutes but more often closer to an hour.
This leaves the âon the dayâ appointment option. You can call in or go in to the surgery when they open at 8 and secure a same day slot. The que of people are seen first then the phones are answered. There is no phone que so it is pot luck whether you get through or try again. When you eventually do get through you are told that all the same day appointments are gone so best to stand outside from about 7:45 to get one.
This faffing for an appointment later in the day means a doctors trip consumes your whole day.
Once you actually get seen they are okay. Always been the same, never been reliable."
