"On my first arrival into Beverley I completed an New patient form everything seemed to be ok as I use on-line contact for prescriptions and appointments etc (System on-line) and wanted a surgery that was actually using IT systems this way.
After my first encounter with collecting my repeat prescription at the pharmacy (Hengate) I was informed that my address on my prescription was wrong and it said 'Road instead of Way' so this would need to be changed. I then returned to the reception to complete the forms to correct this, although I'm not sure the error was mine to correct. Moving forward 3 weeks and the Surgery having had the A4 sheet of paper they wanted me to complete to say 'Road instead of Way' to make the simple change on their IT system. I made a further repeat prescription but the pharmacy refused to hand over the repeat prescription as the address is wrong and still says 'Road instead of Way'. This is a very basic administration process that has taken over 3 weeks to correct but has now impacted on other resources Inc, pharmacy time and my time to sort this out.The GPs are very good in comparison to the support team behind them, I work full time running a company and if my admin team was this lapse my company would have go into administration, 3 weeks for basic data input is not acceptable. I would also recommend removing the illuminous writing/words on your website this is difficult for the reader!"
