"I moved to the area in December 2016 and haven't seen a doctor at the surgery yet. The one appointment I tried to make was successful when booking, but on the day was cancelled because all the computers were down (what did they do before technology?).
My recent appointment for a smear and blood pressure check was booked for 08:10. I arrived at the surgery five minutes early to find a queue forming outside as they weren't open. They were late opening because the computers were down again.
Eventually I was seen, but disappointed again as I needed a blood test but they are not equipped to do this at the surgery so you need to book an appointment at a local hospital for it.
I was told by the nurse I saw to book an appointment for the third week of October, but reception told me they don't book that far ahead. I told the receptionist that I need to be taking medication up to the day before the next appointment, I was told to ring and book the new appointment the first week of October and they would do their best to fit me in. Worth mentioning also, I wasn't impressed by the attitude of the receptionist.
I've learned recently that a number of patients have moved to another surgery in the next town. I think I might do the same."
