"I have been going to this surgery for two years, just about every Doctorâs appointment I have attended, I have waited for over half an hour, once it was over an hour. I have never seen the same Doctor there twice. The last time I saw a Doctor, I felt she was not even listening to me. Maybe this is an age thing, as I have experienced this here a few times. Subsequently I suffer until I get a Doctor who listens to me and addresses the problem I am actually telling them about.
The reception staff are excellent and always helpful. There have the misfortune to have to tell, you , you have to wait two weeks for an appointment.
The nurses are always on time and are helpful and appear concerning to your needs.
I am now going through a problem that is causing me great discomfort and pain. Having had the appointment , X-ray , I have gone through the process to see a Doctor, two weeks for an appointment, hence the helpful reception staff have arranged an appointment with a nurse
today. However the pain and discomfort is still there , so itâs obvious I will have to see a Doctor again, which will mean more waiting. My problem is not life threatening or in the list of NHS urgent issues. You have the makings of a good surgery, but the way you rotate your Doctorâs , leads to a lack of confidence by us the general public and subsequently because of this and your policy of waiting two weeks for an appointment, you are causing lots of unessary suffering by your patients."
