"The reception staff at this surgery are disgusting. They have no professionalism or empathy towards patients and are downright rude and dismissive.
I have been refused an appointment other than a date over a month away - even after explaining my medication had almost run out and it was urgent I see or speak to someone over the next week. The receptionists attitude was basically ..tough.
This a regular occurrence at this surgery.
On several occasions after being refused an appointment, my relative has rang them back and attempted to book an appointment and been offered one that same day so their booking system does not make any sense at all.
I have had months worth of anti-depressants handed over to me at the reception desk which were not even for me but were being held under my name...
I have been told incorrect results following blood tests. I have been told I need to see a doctor not a nurse, which contradicted what the doctor told me at my last appointment - All issues stem from the staff on reception.
I have had some health issues over the past few years but due to the manner of the receptionists I have felt uncomfortable and stupid booking appointments, as if my issue is not worthy of seeing a doctor. On several occasions I have been forced to explain my problem to the receptionist for them to decide whether or not it is fit for an appointment.
I have never had a problem with the doctors or nurses who have always been lovely, but something should be done regarding the service on reception as it is giving the surgery a terrible name in the local area. I am definitely not the first to complain about them."
