"I have been with this surgery for many years but since past few months, the service is deteriorating. Firstly getting an appointment is very hard and then you have to wait in the surgery for 45 minutes before you can be seen.
I was suffering from high blood pressure and severe neck pain and i was seen by a particular Doctor 2 months ago and she referred me for a neck scan. I gave it to the receptionist and i am still waiting for an appointment. I have no choice but to suffer. Now after 2 months, I received a phone call from the receptionist that the doctor wants to see me and its been few weeks and I can't get any appointment.
Since past 2 weeks, i call at 8am and the phone goes silent and after 1 minute, it disconnects.When I try again around 8:30am, it rings fine and then I am 8-9th in the queue and by the time its my turn, there is no appointment.
The worst part is when you complain about the phone lines, the staff are not ready to accept that there is a problem with their phone lines. I spoke to a particular member of staff today and I am really disappointed. To prove myself, I will have to go to the surgery in the morning at 8am and try calling them in front of them. I can clearly see the problem- when the phone lines are extremely busy, the phone doesn't connect. They should look into it and get it rather than telling the patients that they are lying.
I have just given up!"
