"Im aware that this surgery is very busy, but the appointment system needs an overhaul. Its very complicated. I rang in today 7th feb 2009. The lady receptionist must be under alot of pressure as was really rather rude and sharp in her dealings with me when i needed things explaining. When i told her this she never appologised but said sarcastically "really" She seemed to think her self importance allowed her to talk down to me which was totally unacceptable. As the booking procedure was so complicated (no forward bookings available) and having to only phone and book on the day, she then changed it to booking on a particular day. Then when i said i was running out of tablets, she told me i'd have to come to the surgery instead. She went very fast and when i asked her to repeat she got annoyed. I dont believe someone should be in such a job dealing with sick and vunerable people, if they are unable to speak to people correctly and cannot take the pressures of the job. Im really quite shocked.
