"I've only really experienced the reception staff so far. There are a couple of the ladies on there who seem lovely, but had a couple of others that aren't.
First of all one of the reception team was very pinickety about my married name (having registered at a previous surgery since being married and not having issues a few years ago this was a shock)and had to go in a second time, taking my marriage certificate, despite them already taking a copy of my passport which has my legal (ie married) name on! When trying to explain that I was extremely confused that this was even an issue, one of the team (who had called about the "problem" in the first place)became very in-your-face to me!
Secondly, my husband has tried to register twice now and failed, firstly because they do not register patients "before 9am, between 12and2pm, or after 3.30pm"(so is he supposed to take a whole day off work to register???) and secondly because a driving licence "isn't a valid proof of address because you could have moved", yet a bill (easily photoshoppable) which could be of a previous address is?! It is sheer madness!!
I'd like to tell you about the doctors/nursing staff, but I haven't actually gotten further than reception so far!"
