"I have been trying to get an appointment for the past 3 days with no luck. I first tried on Tuesday by contacting the practice, I called 3 times was was on hold for over half an hour each time, so gave up as I was working. I visited the practice yesterday (Wednesday) after calling them and was told it was too late to have an appointment that day, and that I would need to call back in the morning to get an appointment.
I called the practice back today as advised to request an appointment, the receptionist asked me if it was urgent and so I explained the issue, she deemed it to not be urgent (I have an infection that is bleeding) so stated that I couldnât have an appointment today and that I am going to have to call back tomorrow. Iâm thinking that if I call back tomorrow I will get the same response.
I have also looked at the online appointments booking system and it shows that there are no appointments available. I am most likely going to have to call 111 to get an appointment elsewhere. The practice was much better than this in the past and has started to be run into the ground since it has been taken over by Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust."
