"I registered with this practice a little over three years ago in 2015, for my first couple of visits I felt confident that I had chosen wisely, as I could get an apt to see the GP I registered with fairly easily, however, now its near on impossible to get an apt to see anyone let alone choose who I see. It appears that they are taking over other surgeries in the context of running services for patients other areas and it seems that the setting up and running of these other practices is at the expense of patients at the Mayfield surgery. I now give two examples of my latest experiences in getting to see a GP. I phoned couple of days ago for an apt to see my GP,
for pain which over the counter ibuprofen did not touch., eventually got an apt for three weeks timeafter much too ing and fro ing over the phone in which I asked to speak to a practice manager regarding my experience s on the phone..i Phoned them today for apt because I now have an infection in my finger which is swollen red and painful. No apts today, as duty doctor was busy was the answer I got. then a callback suggested I send in a picture of my finger via email...â¦â¦...I now await some kind of reply...â¦...I feel like I am not important enough to merit an apt."
