"I had an appointment booked for 18.45 on Thursday 30/08/18. It was the first time I'd had an appointment at this late hour and even my husband thought it was a strange time. Turned up to the surgery and found the inside door locked and everything in darkness so assumed I'd been given the wrong time (this has happened to my mother quite recently) Rang today to find out what had happened and was informed that I should have gone to the pharmacy window and they would have let me in.
It would have been really helpful to have had a sign on the door informing me of this or even to have been told when the appointment was booked, the receptionist could have checked to see if I'd ever had an evening appointment and then told me what I needed to do.
The secretary I spoke to today was basically short and bordering on rude, she said" sorry but we can't leave the door unlocked for anybody to walk in" and then basically when I said I couldn't make another appointment hung up on me.
Very disappointed in what has been my families surgery for over 45 years and am considering moving to a different one."
