You are told to call at 8am to book an appointment, but the line is always busy with no waiting system, you just have to keep calling back until the line is no longer engaged.
The receptionists all seem to be a bit clueless. For example, we went in to register our baby boy only to be told by one that we couldn't register our son until we had his birth certificate. Then to be called by another 2 days later, incidentally while we were in hospital because we couldn't get an appointment with the GP foe suspected mastitus, asking us to come in to register our baby.
Their policy is for you to have a check up with the GP when you register, but this check up just consists of meeting a nurse to take your blood pressure and discuss if you smoke/how much you drink. Not exactly the best use of time if you had to take half a day off work to make the appointment.
It would be nice to at least meet the GP face to face so you can be confident if you were to ever need their help in the future."
