"I was told by the doctor to ring for test results for my son and myself, which I duly did. When speaking to the receptionist she gave me my sons results but said I would need to speak to an on call doctor for my results and to ring back. After a worrying 2 hours I rung back to be told another recceptionist that this was not the laid down policy, as I am not a member of staff I did not know this, She continued emphatically repeat this five times then said she would have to consult the practice manger after which she said this time is would be honoured again like to stress I am not a member of staff and do not know the laid down policy!!! I was told the doctor would ring back, finally I was rung back not by the doctor but by the same recpetionist who gave me my results, I questioned why I was now being told by the recptionist she said she was repeating the results from the doctor and recptionist could not give out results something that sounds very sensible. But then how was the first receptionist able to give me my sons results?! I am now confused and find myself not trusting what I have been told! Not what you want to feel from a doctors sugery or their staff."
