"My name is Mohammed Yogi. With the recent amalgamations this practice has gone down even further than before. I have been registered here for the past eight years plus. I have never seen the same doctor twice. On Monday 5th March I asked for an appointment as I had been suffering a headache for five weeks. I had to wait a further sixteen days before being able to see a doctor. All he gave me were Ibuprofen, despite me requesting no Paracetamol, as it gives me serious constipation. He did arrange for me to have a blood test, which was a further eight days later. I have asked on three separate occasions for the results, and have received no results. Also, in recent months, should you ring for a repeat prescription, you are immediately greeted with terrible music, thereby prolonging your call, which is tantamount to taxing the sick. Well done Peasholm surgery. How can anyone have faith in a surgery like this one."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Peter Kipgen

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

Dr Philip Monnery qualified from ST George’s Hospital Medical School in 1991, Undertaking a career in the Royal Air force. Initially undertaking surgical training and specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat he became a consultant in the Military in 2006. A change in life goals meant a change to general practice in 2009. He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Qualifications - BSc, MBChB, MRCGP

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
