"I've had 3 GP's Bedford, and one in particular is by far the best GP I've had here in Bedford. When I last swapped GP about 6 years ago, I first researched all the GP's within walking distance of where I live (about 2 miles from priory park) and this doctor came out better than all the others. So I switched, and haven't looked back or needed to look at any other practice.
As well as that, continuity is generally guaranteed here, which in my book is a essential for a GP. Getting a different GP who is overworked on every surgery visit (as happens at most other Bedford surgeries) and who doesn't know you or your medical history, is a bit like Russian roulette in my view.
Additionally, the diabetic nurse does a FAR better job for diabetics (like me) than the treatment we receive at the diabetic clinic at South Wing, especially on the 6-monthly reviews."
