"Having been a patient at this surgery for over 30 years I always sang it's praises up until maybe 2 years ago.
The implementation of the phone triage system makes sense and I can see the benefits bits it's not always appropriate for every ailment or situation yet no matter how hard you tried to explain the answer was always the same, this is how it works now there's nothing else I can do. This unwillingness to treat each patient as an individual put barriers in the way of me receiving the help.i needed with my health despite me telling the receptionists and putting my issues in writting highlighting why the phone triage couldn't work for me and was preventing me from getting the help I needed. And when I did eventually get to see a Dr on two occasions I was asked what would you like me to do about it? They showed zero interest in listening to me and made me feel as though I was an inconvience and in was wasting their time. And it wasn't just one Dr that I experienced this from as I was often seen by different Dr's with no continuity of care, and I never once got to see my actual named Dr within the last 14 years despite wanting to. I have since this experience left the surgery and am now getting much needed, perspnalised care elsewhere. 5 years ago I would've given Springmead 5 stars but it has really gone down hill in recent years sadly."
