"Myself and my family have been going to this surgery for over 20 years and even though it is an extremely busy surgery I've always found each doctor/practice nurse I've seen extremely knowledgeable, respectful, discrete and compassionate. The older doctors have now left due to retirement but the new ones seem to be as great as the first. I am always confident we get the right diagnosis and treatment. I dread having to change surgeries if I ever move. 10/10 from me! If on occasions that we can't get a doctor the Practice nurses are more than qualified to diagnose any ailments and if they do not know the answer they quickly get a 2nd opinion."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

Dr Philip Monnery qualified from ST George’s Hospital Medical School in 1991, Undertaking a career in the Royal Air force. He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?
