"Hi, I would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the receptionists & Drs at Heath Cottage Surgery on Christmas Eve for helping me sort out my drugs for my holiday to Dubai. I have MS and itâs been a nightmare trying to find out information about my many drugs I take, which ones I can, and can not take into UAE. Itâs been very difficult and quiet overwhelming at times because I have not had any help from anyone except the MS Society and the receptionists at my local surgery. The receptionist at Heath Cottage helped me get my very specific GP travel letter arranged, to accompany my online application to the Ministry of Health. She printed me a document that included my non repeat prescription drugs and was extremely helpful. I am on so many drugs, and Iâm required to provide trade names, active ingredients, batch numbers etc etc in my application, itâs proved a nightmare for my brain cells. Emails I sent to foreign embassies & foreign Health Ministries have never been answered and i was banging my head up against a brick wall in frustration with it all, until the receptionist at Heath Cottage Surgery saved my sanity & listened carefully & patiently to what I needed. She then spoke with my GP and sorted it all out for me. She went above and beyond and I am eternally grateful. I have problems with my speech which hinders the words coming out of my mouth. I get agitated about it but your receptionists ALWAYS make me feel at ease, they wait patiently for my MS to get itself together & the words to come out. The receptionists, staff and GPS at Heath Cottage are all very professional, highly efficient and deal with us patients with the utmost kindness. A fabulous surgery and everyone who works there is a credit to our NHS. Merry Christmas to them all."
