"Awful, I was told November last year I have non alcoholic fatty liver disease and if left untreated it will cause liver failure. I am in constant pain and I was told I need to lose weight and I asked them to help and they have just left me and left me, refuse to help me try and get my illness under control, referred me to a weight management coach who spoke to me twice and then texted me saying I have been reallocated and weight management coach she will be in touch shortly, this was over a month ago still nothing, then I spoke to a Dr White who I asked for a different kind of help he told me to call him back after a week and after phoning for a week and then waiting all day for a phone call back I then received a text saying they have booked me a phone consultation with Dr White 4th June, this was mid May, its the worse possible doctors you could go to, they dont care about us as patients at all they would rather wait for mu illness to become irreversible before they help me and by then it will be too late."

Dr Ko Ko Laing qualified in 1989, his previous surgery in Victory Road merged with the Portsdown Group in April 2010. He is a highly experienced GP, is based in Kingston Crescent Surgery he has a number of special interest which includes medicine, rheumatology and joint injections. He is a keen tennis player and also enjoys travel.

Dr Kipgen qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2006 (MBBS). He completed his GP training in Dorset in 2015 (MRCGP). He has a broad range of experience gained from hospital posts earlier in his career; these include paediatrics, sexual health, orthopaedics and emergency medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and is a keen amateur chef. He also enjoys playing and watching sport especially rugby and football.

He joined Portsdown Group Practice in 2015 and maintains his special interest in ENT and is responsible for the Portsdown Travel Clinic. He is married to Alison and has three children who keep them both very busy. He likes nothing better than to relax in the garden and is frequently seen with either a chainsaw or an axe, what could go wrong!?

Dr Catherine Tuson

Dr Cat Tuson graduated from Warwick University in 2007 and joined the Practice in 2013 having completed her GP training in the North East of England. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and joint injections and also in women’s health.
