"Firstly the good: Staff are very pleasant and helpful, you can usually get through to the practice on the telephone and waits for appointments are not terribly long. Having said that, the environment is awful. Obviously the clinic is old and that cannot be helped but it is disgustingly filthy; the treatment rooms are so dusty and dirty and the toilet is absolutely awful. I attended recently for some jabs and the needles had been laid out on the desk not far from a radiator which was covered in sticky dust and looked like he had not been wiped over for years. I really think that there is no excuse for not keeping a clinical environment clean no matter how old it is. I also have never observed good hand hygiene from nursing staff during my several attendances, hand gel and gloves have never been used in my experiences and I think this is very poor. On one occasion the nurse had their personal items out on the desk next to where the injections were being prepared. I will be using another surgery in future."
