"Got to say, all the GPs are fantastic. There was problems in the past trying to get through for same day appointsment, often having to hit redial more than 80 times before getting through. However they have now introduced a call waiting system, which at least saves the frustration of redialling. Also I like the message saying that the receptionist may ask you questions about your call, as often people feel they are just being nosey when in fact they are trying to do a job and prioritise those that need to be seen and by either the GP or nurse.
Never had a problem with professionalism or respect. I really like the patient access app, Iâm able to easily book a routine appointment, order repeat prescriptions to be sent to the pharmacy (only bug bear is that they canât send controlled drugs e.g. tramadol, electronically, so I have to pick up the prescription every time and take it to the pharmacy).
I did see a newbie GP (in final year of training) as I had a rash which they misdiagnosed, and when I saw a regular GP they easily corrected it and prescribed the Correct medicine. A bit worrying but fortunately only a minor ailement.
Receptionist are very helpful. often with queries, they will take a note, find the answer out and call back. They have done this when I want to follow up results, or had a query about my past immunisations (as not all are on my digital record on the app) the receptionsist went out her way to retrieve the paper version, check and call back within 24 hours.
I do like that they have the main site in the city, so itâs easy to pop out at work for an appointment, or be seen at their branch site in Mapperley which is closer to home."
