"I have been a patient of this practice for over 10 years now, and come to the conclusion of the same problems over and over again and that is miscommunication of staff, there has been more than a couple of times when a member of staff is giving me wrong information, including refusing prescription due to not having my passport, when I have two other forms of identification.
Also information on repeat prescriptions in which I have on numerous occasions rang the doctors to say Iâm running out in which they have always repeated my prescription.
However on one to many occasions for my liking have some of the pre-access phone staff misguided myself or are refusing prescription repeats over the phone, many times they have asked personal questions regarding medication or health which are never in relation to what I am asking of them.
I have no qalms with the doctors or nurses at this practice, however I believe some, not all reception/phone staff need to brush up on their patient communication skills.
