"I have spent the last couple of weeks trying unsuccessfully to make an appointment for my Mum with a particular GP at this surgery.
I phoned the practice numerous times. Most of the time the phone was engaged and when answered I was then left on hold. When I finally managed to speak to a receptionist there were no appointments for the GP I wished to book an appointment with.
In desperation I went into the surgery. I was advised to come to the surgery at 8am and queue or use the online booking system which starts at 8am.
I realised that I had been wasting my time ringing because by the time the phone lines open at 8.30 all the appointments are taken !"
