"So just telephoned the surgery to book an appointment as none available after 4pm on patient access. The snotty receptionist informed me that I would have to leave work early or go and attend the urgent care centre. Then offered an appointment at 5.30pm on 28th Feb - joke. Came off phone and checked website that clearly advertises appointments for evenings and weekends. Phoned the surgery to query this and got an even more abrupt receptionist that said I could have an appointment at the waterfront on saturday. Then she asked why I wanted the appointment, I said to see the Doctor. She said I have to put a reason, I said thats the reason. I am not willing to start going into details about why an appointment is required. I was also informed that a particular doctor does the evening appointments and she's back from maternity in 2 months.
This surgery has done nothing to address the number of people using it that don't live in the area, no wonder you can't get an appointment."
