"About a week ago, I rang the Waddington surgery to request a âFitness for Workâ Statement. In view of having no transport available for collection or anybody available to pick this up, I asked if it could be posted. Although this was not the normal procedure, I was told the statement would be posted on this occasion.
Still awaiting this statement after a week and after prompts from my employer, I rang the surgery and was told it was waiting to be picked up; no explanation given.
This may seem a minor matter and the collection has now been made (by bike, as my health has improved) but the last thing you need after a heart attack is small irritations of this nature. I politely asked why the statement had not been posted but was steadfastly given no explanation, which is just plain rude."
