"I tried to phone to make an appointment for a follow up to telephone consultations that were not effective and waited in the queue for 35 minutes. When the call was answered the receptionist shouted down the phone "Madam you cannot just ring to make an appointment you have to ring at 8.30 to see if an appointment is available." I have been at this practice for over 30 years and it now seems to be going down the hill. If this is what coronavirus has reduced the NHS to it makes me very sad. If I was ill but not needing to call 999 would anyone look after me? Why could the receptionist not have just offered sympathy and asked for a telephone contact so I could arrange something with the doctor?"
