"Sent a letter to obtain Blood test Results for my Daughter following a doctors appointment and then receiving a letter stating to arrange an appointment to discuss results.worried about her condition due to on-going concerns.
Unfortunately not a pre-book appointment for 3 weeks, and explained a work hours 8-4 and are unable just to leave work without prior arrangement, so the booking system of ring back at 2pm when all appointments have been allocated does not allow a worried parent to obtain information.
Could a telephone consultation with required information be feasible in stopping a parent worrying and an unnecessary appointment being used as these are already hard to obtain.
Is this good patient care?"
